Panaji: As State government failed to install digital meters to tourist taxis from August 1, as assured by them to the court, the Bombay High Court at Goa today issued contempt notice for failing to meet the deadline.

The State government had in July informed the Court that the state-wide installation of digital fare meters in tourist taxis will begin from August 1 and conclude with six months.
