Govt to empanel Indian Sign Language Interpreter

Panaji: Realizing the importance of sign language interpreters (SLIs) in reaching out to the hearing impaired persons, the State government has decided to empanel SLIs.

Government has invited applications from all those SLIs who have completed diploma in SLIs from recognized institute.

All those who are trained as an Indian SLIs are asked to submit their details such as an Name, Address, Contact No, E-mail the course completed along with the Institute from which it has been completed to the Directorate of Social Welfare, by March 10.

The eligible candidates can also submit their applications via a email socialwelfaregoa@rediffmail.com
