Porvorim: The four-day-long Goa Legislative Assembly session will begin from Monday, January 25, with Governor B S Koshyari to address the members on the first day.
Speaker of Goa Legislative Assembly Rajesh Patnekar said that the four day long assembly session would be held from January 25 to 29. The Republic Day, January 26, will be holiday for the session, he said.
The Governor would be addressing the session Monday, the Speaker said adding that all the COVID-19 guidelines would be in place including ban on the visitors.
During the session, the members will speak on the motion on Governor’s Speech.
The Speaker said that the legislature wing has received 715 Questions, which would be answered during the session including 195 starred and 556 un-starred questions.
In all five private members’ resolution, four private members’ Bills and six government Bills would be tabled during the Session, he said.
