Panaji: The Ministry of Statistic and Programme Implementation (MoSPI), Government of India, New Delhi, will conduct the 7th Economic Census (EC) for Establishments in the Country.
The field work of the 7th Economic Census, 2019 is currently in progress across the country including Goa. The field work and supervision of the 7th Economic Census is being carried through the Common Service Centre (CSC) e-Governance Services Limited formed under the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY), Government of India.
Under the Economic Census, house to house survey is being carried out by the enumerators appointed by the CSC, through mobile app by strictly following all guidelines and social distancing measures issued by the Ministry of Home Affairs with regards to Covid -19 pandemic.
The general public are requested to kindly cooperate in furnishing the requisite information to the enumerators who will be visiting their houses for collection of census data.
