Panaji : Now citizens neither need to visit the RTO office repeteadly nor stand in long queues to get their licences renewed. or issue duplicat elicense orregister thier application because the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways, has launched Aadhaar Authentication bsed conctactless service for citizens.
Government delivery process is simplified with the use of Aadhar card as in identity document, making the process transparent and efficient.
The Ministry in its notification has informed that ” Any individual desirous of availing various contactless services, through the portal, is required to undergo Aadhaar authentication,”
“Provided that till the time Aadhaar is assigned to the individual, benefits of contactless services shall be given to such individual subject to the production of Aadhaar Enrolment ID slip,” the Ministry added.
