Panaji: Goa reported almost 40 per cent positivity on Thursday with 3,728 people testing positive on Thursday, taking the toll to 2,00,824.

As per health department bulletin, total 3,728 people were tested positive on Thursday taking toll to 2,00,824.

Four persons died due to infection during the day, after which the death toll has touched 3543. The positivity rate hiked from 31.84 percent   percent on Wednesday to 39.41 per cent on Thursday.

The number of recovered patients in the state rose to 180394 with 971 of them getting discharged on Thursday. The number of active cases has peaked to 16887, the official said.

“With 9459 new tests, the total number of tests conducted in the state has gone up to 17,07,017,”  he added.
