Goa govt to take action against private hospitals refusing to cover COVID-19 treatment under DDSSY

Panaji: Goa government has warned action against the private hospitals who refuse coverage under its medical scheme for COVID-19 treatment.

State Chief Minister Pramod Sawant told reporters that Goa government will initiate action against the private hospitals who refuse to cover the  COVID-19 treatment under Deen Dayal Swastha Seva Yojana (DDSSY) scheme.

Sawant had recently announced coverage of COVID-19 treatment in private hospitals of the state under this flagship scheme.

The chief minister appealed people to come forward and complaint against such private hospitals.

He said that all the financial dues to be paid to the private hospitals under this medical scheme would be cleared in next fifteen days.
