Ponda: Goa Forward Party has extended its support to help out commuters who are affected due to landslide at Kerye, Khandepar near Ponda.

Party leaders Rajesh Verenkar and Durgadas Kamat visited the site of the landslide this morning along with the locals. The party team took stock of the situation and decided to commission two buses to ferry locals till the debris on the highway is cleared.

Verenkar has tweeted “we assure the citizens of Kerya Khandepar, ponda that @goaforwardparty stands by them. We have arranged two buses from Kerye Church via Opa, Kodar-Ponda. GA-01-W-4172 and GA-01-W-4816 (Ponda Amigos Junction-Keriem).”

Several hundred people are put to inconvenience due to the landslide incident that happened yesterday.
