Panaji: Chief minister Dr Pramod Sawant on Wednesday met spiritual leader Sri Sri Ravi Shankar in Bengaluru and sought his blessings, saying the guru’s message of wellbeing, human values and global harmony continues to inspire millions across the world.
The chief minister said the teachings and guidance of Sri Sri Ravi Shankar have had a far-reaching impact in promoting spirituality and a balanced way of life.
During the interaction, Sawant also watched “Love Moves the World”, a short film highlighting the life, vision and humanitarian work of the spiritual leader, officials said.
He further witnessed a demonstration of the Intuition Process, an initiative aimed at helping children and teenagers unlock their inner potential, enhance intuitive abilities and take confident decisions.
Sawant said the Art of Living Foundation has made significant contributions towards stress-free living, social transformation, youth empowerment, environmental protection and humanitarian service, both in India and globally.
He lauded the organisation’s efforts in promoting mental wellbeing and fostering a sense of collective responsibility towards society, officials added.
