Margao: Goa Forward Party Chief and Fatorda MLA Vijai Sardesai on Saturday felicitated Goa-based researcher Dr Shekhar Naik who along with his partner has worked out sustainability solutions for roadside veggies.
Naik’s work has been prominently featured in Times of India highlighting his unique achievement.
During the annual day celebration of Shri Ghumteshwar Brahmdev Devasthan at Pajifond, Fatorda, Sardesai felicitated Dr Naik.
Dr Naik would be presenting the unique model at International Entrepreneurship Forum to be held at Porto, Portugal.

Times of India revealing the unique achievement of Dr Naik has written: While very little documentation of the road side veggies has taken place. Now, two academics, Renji George Ambaloor, a doctorate holder in economics and Shekhar Naik, a doctorate holder in computer science, has together in computer science, have together studied the sustainability issues these entrepreneurs faced and have accordingly worked out some possible solutions.
