Curchorem: Former BJP Minister Ramrao Desai on Saturday reiterated that he would be contesting upcoming Assembly election from Curchorem constituency.
While maintaining secrecy on which party ticket, he would be contesting on, Desai said “I am in touch with a political party on whose ticket I intend to contest the upcoming polls.”
He said that the talks are going on in “right direction” and is “confident of getting their ticket.”
Desai was minister in BJP government but had later lost the election. The constituency is currently represented by Nilesh Cabral on BJP ticket.
