Panaji: Goa Forward Party President Vijai Sardesai has warned police against allowing the disease of communal hatred in his assembly constituency, after a local ST youth was falsely attacked by a mob and police over objectionable post.
The youth had filed two complaints with cyber cell earlier claiming that his account has been hacked.
What is interesting is that Fatorda police assaulted the youth after complaint was filed against him, accusing him of posting objectionable material against Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj.
This is despite the fact that he had earlier filed two complaints with Cyber Crime cell after his Instagram account was hacked.
The issue was taken up by GFP President Vijai Sardesai who questioned why Fatorda Police assaulted the youth, without inquiring into his complaint of hacking the instagram account.
Sardesai said that he will not allow this disease of communal hatred being spread in his assembly constituency. He said that he respects Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. Sardesai recalled that he had taken up the work of renovation of Saptakoteshwar Temple at Narve.
