Panaji : The Excise Officials at Excise Check Post Patradevi seized a vehicle bearing a registration from Maharashtra for carrying 114 cases of liquor bottles worth Rs. 3,34,560 for illegal transportation of liquor at 7:30 am on Wednesday.
The said vehicle, cost of which is Rs 1,80,000, was proceeding from Goa to Maharashtra and the liquor was being transported in a sealed container when it was detained by Excise Inspector, Amol Harwalkar, Excise Sub-Inspector Damodar Lolienkar and a team of Excise Guards.
