Panaji: Days after being transferred from the post of Commissioner, IAS Shashank Tripathi is been accused by CCP Mayor Uday Madkaikar of pressuring the councilors to provide the certificates to declare their respective wards as open defecation free (ODF).
Addressing press conference today, Madkaikar said that Tripathi had assured to provide mobile toilets and start work of construction of 310 Sulabh toilets from September 10 in all the wards.
“Pending this, he pressurized all the councilors to give certificates declaring their wards free from open defecation. We did that. But till date not even mobile toilets are provided in the wards,” he said.
