Panaji : State Immunization Officer, Dr Rajendra Borkar has reminded the Goan public that they should not forget Covid appropriate behavior during Chaturthi celebration which may invite the third wave.
He informed that “without taking nay break, we have carried out vaccination programs for 228 days, as of now 15,63,727 jabs have been administered of which 11.45 lakh are first doses”.
Nodal Officer of Covid Vaccination, Dr Anup Netravalkar has informed that they will be taking Chaturthi holidays on 10th and 11th September hence there wont be any vaccination taking place. “Vaccination will resume on 12th September,” he added.
