Directorate of Higher Education launches – DISHTAVO, digital learning platform

Panaji: The Directorate of Education(DHE) today launched an online learning platform at the hands of CM Pramod Sawant. DISHTAVO is an online learning platform which will help students to stay up to date in learning. Present for the launching ceremony were DHE Director Prasad Lolayekar, CM Pramod Sawant, Vandana Naik and other distinguished guests.

Lolayekar while introducing the online platform said UGC has directed all Educational Institutions across India to make 40 percent of their syllabus available online. DISHTAVO is an endeavour to make this e-learning possible. We will be constantly upgrading this software so that new chapters can be added and students stay up to date. twenty five colleges including Cowgulle college and Goa university have worked hand-in-hand to make this project a reality.
“DISHTAVO will make Swayampurna Goa a success” said the CM who wants to make Atma Nirbhar Bharat a reality. This platform is of international quality and we have worked closely with the teaching faculty to bring this to students. Students of any stream will be able to access their syllabus on this platform. Learning music from the screen of your laptop or smartphone is  one-of a kind learning experience that this platform has to offer. Speaking about the success of the online learning CM Sawant added “Goa is the first state to train teachers in online learning”
