Panaji: Minister Sudin Dhavalikar and MGP President Deepak Dhavalikar on Tuesday met BJP General Secretary B L Santhosh in Delhi, amidst the differences arising between them their alliance party.
Chief minister Pramod Sawant had recently announced that his party would be contesting Mandrem and Priol Assembly constituencies. Sawant had even said that those who want to break away, can very well do that, but there would not be any compromise on both the Assembly constituencies.
Sawant had later clarified that he is not against the alliance with the MGP as it would be decided by BJP leaders in Delhi.
On Tuesday, Sudin and Deepak air dashed to Delhi to meet BJP General Secretary B L Santhosh. The details of the discussion is yet to be known but Deepak confirmed that they would also meet Union Home minister Amit Shah later in the evening.
