Panaji: The law students  in the State are left in lurch after Goa University has delayed to declare the revaluation results.

The students claimed that it has been more then 60 days (which is the time allotted as per Goa University rules website) since the declaration of the B.A.LL.B & LL.B Degree results and only 14 days left for the October Exams to begin . The students are still not sure whether they’ve to re-answer the backlogs or not.

Yet Goa University has not declared the Revaluation results of the students and this isn’t the first time this has happened, the students said .

Even the previous semester , the same results were only declared two days before the backlog exams were about to begin and that too was only done upon the Nationalist Congress Union (N.C.U.) insisting to call for a protest of the University didn’t declare the same in 3-days time .

One of our NSUI members who had a telephonic conversation with the C.O.E of Goa University in which the C.O.E had promised that the results will be declared anyhow by December 19.

The day is over and  the same is still not declared. This only goes to show that the Goa University has failed time and again in doing its duties on time and are not willing to also try to improve their position in National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) of the Union ministry by the Human Resource Development (HRD) which fell drastically down to a mere 68th.
