Panaji: Goa’s coronavirus caseload went up by 70 and reached 55,143 on Wednesday, a health department official said.
The death toll remained at 796 as none of the patients succumbed to the infection during the day, he said.
The number of recovered patients in the state rose to 53,737 with 42 of them getting discharged on Wednesday. The number of active cases is now 610, the official said.
“With 1,717 new tests, the total number of tests conducted in the state has gone up to 4,97,806,” he added.
