Panaji: Goa’s coronavirus caseload went up by 52 and reached 54,700 on Wednesday , a health department official said.
The death toll mounted to 789 as one of the patients succumbed to the infection during the day, he said.
The number of recovered patients in the state rose to 53,416 with 35 of them getting discharged on Wednesday. The number of active cases is now 495, the official said.
“With 1,659 new tests, the total number of tests conducted in the state has gone up to 4,87,110,” he added.
