Porvorim: Independent MLA Rohan Khaunte on Wednesday taunted Chief Minister Pramod Sawant over his statement on covid restriction stating that coronavirus do not differentiate between Public and Private gatherings.
CM had claimed that the section 144 of CrPC was not applicable to the private gatherings. He was speaking about the Holi Celebrations held in private hotels in the state.
Khaunte tweeted “the sanctity of #Section144 is under question when @DrPramodPSawant openly declares that it is not applicable to gatherings in private properties. Secondly, we are talking about Covid virus that does not differentiate between Public and Private gatherings.”
