COVID-19: Eleven new cases, three recovered, tally touches 47

Panaji: Goa reported eleven fresh cases of COVID-19 positive on Sunday, while three patients who were being treated in the hospital for the infection have recovered.

As per health bulletin issued by State government, total positive cases in the state have touched a mark of 66, while 47 are active and 19 discharged till date.

The bulletin mentions that three patients who were being treated at ESI hospital have been recovered and sent to a quarantine facility after their discharge.

All the eleven cases which were reported in the state on Sunday had travelled by a train from Maharashtra, the bulletin reads.

“Currently they are admitted at ESI hospital and their condition is stable,” it read.

State has tested 591 samples on Sunday after which the total number of persons tested has touched 12,499.

Goa’s COVID-19 figures are as follows: Positive cases: 66, new cases: 11, deaths: nil, discharged: 19, active cases 47, Samples tested till date: 12,499.
