COVID-19: 95 new infections, zero deaths

Panaji: Goa’s coronavirus caseload went up by 95 and reached 49,131 on Thursday,  a health department official said.

The death toll continued to be at  703 as none of the  patients succumbed to the infection during the day, he said.

The number of recovered patients in the state rose to 47,215 with 159 of them getting discharge on Thursday. The number of active cases is now 1,213, the official said.

“A total of 1,502 samples were tested during the day,” he added.
