Panaji: Goa’s coronavirus caseload went up by 235 and reached 44,189 on Tuesday, a health department official said.
The death toll mounted to 618 as two patients succumbed to the infection during the day, he said.
The number of recovered patients in the state rose to 41,362 with 239 of them getting discharge on Tuesday. The number of active cases is now 2,209, the official said.
“A total of 1712 samples were tested during the day,” he added.
