New Delhi: Chief Minister Pramod Sawant on Thursday met Union Home Minister Amit Shah in New Delhi to discuss wide range of issues concerning the state.
Sawant left for Delhi this evening.
The statement issued here by Chief Minister’s Office stated that Sawant met Shah at latter’s official residence in New Delhi.
“Various issues related to resumption of mining, coal and others were discussed during the meeting,” the CMO said.
“The Home Minister was also happy with performance of BJP in Zilla panchayat wherein the party won on 33 seats during the elections held last month,” the statement reads.
“The Home Minister has assured the CM full support from the centre to fight COVID-19, vaccination drive and other priorities of Goa as the state entered 60th year of its Liberation,” the CMO said.
