CM condition is stable; doctors are happy with progress- CMO

Panaji: Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar’s health condition continues to be stable, CMO said.

In a statement issued, CMO said that Dr Pramod Garg from AIIMS, who is heading the treatment of Chief Minister has conducted a thorough check up of the CM.

“The doctors are happy with his progress and the Chief Minister continues to be stable,” CMO said.

Parrikar was admitted in Goa Medical College and Hospital (GMC) on Saturday night. Health Minister Vishwajit Rane has said that Parrikar would be kept under observation for a day or two and that all his parameters are under control.

Earlier today, various leaders visited Parrikar in the hospital.  Rane was the first to visit Parrikar again today.

BJP national leader B L Santhosh, Satish Dhond, Sadanand Tanawade, Speaker Dr Pramod Sawant, former CM Laxmikant Parsekar, former MLA Siddharat Kuncolienkar were amongst those who visited the hospital and inquired about CM health.

Speaking to media persons, Dr Sawant said that he personally spoke to Dr Garg and inquired about CM health. “Doctor told me that the health condition of CM has improved and it is stable now. All health parameters are stable,” he said.

Sawant ruled out possibility of shifting Parrikar to AIIMS at this point.
