Close on the heels of fighting for supply of electricity, AAP brought to light the most harrowing time people of areas in Talukas of Bardez, Bicholim , Pernen, Valpoi and many other villages had to go through during this Chaturthi due to failure of the PWD to ensure water supply to the people residing there in. “The least that could be done was to provide water to the people to allow them to celebrate the annual Ganesh Chaturthi. But alas! even that could not be ensured “ said AAP General Secretary Pradeep Padgaonkar adding that the government was failing on every front with the opposition unable to play its role to checkmate the Government. Sudin Dhavalikar has failed as a minister inspite of having clinged to PWD for more than a decade. AAP demanded that he should resign and make way for someone who could give drinking water regularly and not false promises.
Earlier, Padgaonkar also released an appeal on social media exhorting people to give answers to their children that taking a few thousands as cash for vote was the reason that they were fed formalin laced fish in Goa.
