Vasco: Goa Airport Director Gagan Malik has said that various chartered flight operators have booked their slots at Dabolim airport till March, 2021.
Goa’s tourism industry which contributes more than 9 percent GDP was hardest hit by the lockdown. This industry might have to wait longer to resume as Malik disclosed that “although international arrivals are yet to commence this tourism season, various chartered flight operators have booked 351 slots at the state airport till March 2021.”
“Those operators that have booked slots at Dabolim airport for this year’s season are mainly from Russia, followed by the UK,” Malik stated
