Margao: Margao Municipal Councilor Mahesh Amonkar has expressed surprise why the CCTV camera installed in the chamber of the chief officer was removed.
Gaurish Shankhwalkar is currently Chief officer of the MMC.
The CCTV cameras were installed to record the happenings in the chambers of the senior ranking officials including Chief officer and chairperson. The CCTV cameras are also installed across the building in every section to keep a check on the staff, which might leave before time.
