In North Goa Parliamentary constituency at Panaji, Shripad Naik filed his nomination in presence of Sawant and Tanavade. Naik said that one round of campaigning is already over and the second phase will start now.

He said that he has been getting overwhelming response from voters.

In Panaji, Chief minister Sawant said that the BJP will win both the seats. “We will win with a margin of one lakh votes in North Goa and 60,000 in South Goa,” he said.

Sawant said that PM Narendra Modi has given various guarantees through the manifesto. “The people of Goa have also given the guarantee that they will elect both the BJP candidates,” he said.
