Pernem: Union AYUSH Minister and BJP Candidate for North Goa Parliamentary seat Shripad Naik received warm welcome when he toured Pernem Assembly constituency today.
Naik has been touring North Goa Assembly constituencies as a part of his election campaign.
During his tour today, he visited various village panchayats where several hundred party workers and locals interacted with him.
Naik has been a popular figure in this area due to his humble behaviour and developmental works undertaken by Narendra Modi led government.
He was accompanied by BJP leader Damu Naik, Govind Parwatkar, Pernem Mandal President Ramesh Sawant and others.
“During last four elections, the voters got me elected with historic margin. This time I am confident that the history will repeat,” said Naik.
He said that his margin will increase this time considering the kind of response he has been getting from the voters.
Naik had begun his campaign from Priol Assembly Constituency. He would be touring all the 20 assembly constituencies in North Goa during next 20 days.
