Panaji: Nearly 200 units of Goa Police will spread across the State including internal roads to book cases against the people who drink and drive.
D G P Angle, Deputy Superintendent of Police (Traffic) told www.goanewshub.com that the staff would be armed with Alco meters and posted in every stretch of the road across the State.
“If anyone is found driving in an inebriated condition then his vehicle would be attached and proceedings would be initiated against him,” Angle said.
The drive which will have 200 units will be held across Highways and even internal roads including those in the cities.
Angle said that Traffic Police and local police stations would be involved in this drive.
