Panaji: Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar drops ailing Ministers- Francis D’Souza and Pandurang Madkaikar from his cabinet.
Two other BJP MLAs- Nilesh Cabral and Milind Naik, will be sworn in as new Ministers replacing the ailing once. The swearing in will take place at 4.00pm at Raj Bhavan.
D’Souza- Urban Development Minister and Madkaikar, Power Minister, are been unwell for some time and in the hospital. While D’Souza is in US or treatment, Madkaikar had suffered brain stroke in June, since then he is in Mumabi hospital.
While Cabral will be the first time Minister, Naik was former power minister during BJP led 2012 government. Cabral is currently chairman of Goa Tourism Development Corporation (GTDC)
It is also likely that by today evening, additional portfolio allocation will take place among all the cabinet ministers.
