Panaji: A team of doctors from All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) New Delhi on Tuesday visited Goa Medical College and Hospital near Panaji to oversee the facility created to treat critical COVID-19 patients.

The AIIMS team had arrived in Goa on Monday to monitor the health condition of Union AYUSH Minister Shripad Naik.

On Tuesday, the team in presence of State Health Minister Vishwajit Rane, Dean of GMCH Shivanand Bandekar and others inspected three wards, which are tailor-made to treat critical COVID-19 infected patients.

“I thank the team of doctors from #AIIMS, Delhi for their visit to Goa. During their visit, they reviewed the treatment and facilities at GMC and ESI Hospital, for COVID19 patients in Goa.
