Smart India Hackathon 2022 is a nationwide initiative to provide students a platform to solve some of the pressing problems we face in our daily lives, and thus inculcate a culture of product innovation and a mindset of problem-solving. SIH 2022 brings the next generation evolution by including a new methodology to inculcate the culture of the startup and innovation ecosystem.
Agnel Institute of Technology and Design, Assagao organized an Internal hackathon to shortlist the teams to participate in the National level SIH 2022.
The jury panel of the event included Mr. Malcolm D’Souza, Co-Founder and CTO of Spintly Solutions, Goa, Mr. Sanjay Mulvi, Head, Centre of Incubation and Business Acceleration, Assagao- Goa, and Mr. Shaunak Pai Kane, AI & ML Developer, TATA Consultancy Services.
Out of various teams across Computer, Mechanical, and Electronics & Communications Engineering (ECE) Department, a total of 15 teams were shortlisted for further evaluation. Out of which, team GLADIATORS with team members Mr. Omkar Surlakar (ECE), Mr. Pratosh Pal (ECE), Ms. Vivita Malik (ECE), Mr. Joshua Pereira (ECE), and Mr. Anmay Gosavi (Computer) has reached Grand Finale of SIH 2022.
In the Grand Finale, this team will compete with selected teams across the country for the several problem statements given by various ministries and other organizations.
