Panaji: As many as 6955 new names were added to the voters electoral roll, which was published today.
As on date, the total number of people eligible to cast their votes are 11,26,732.
State will be holding by elections next month for Mandrem and Shiroda assembly seats followed by Lok Sabha polls.
As per the press statement released by the Chief Electoral Office (CEO), of the total electoral population of 11,26,732 male population consists of 5,51,597 while the female voters are at the higher side with 5,75,135.
In North Goa total new voters added were 5276 while South Goa reported deletion of 301 Male voters. South added names of 1980 new female voters.
