AAP Goa desk in-charge Atishi holds door-to-door campaign for Dr. Mariano Godinho in Nuvem

Aam Aadmi Party Goa desk in-charge Atishi has held a door-to-door campaign for Dr. Mariano Godinho in Nuvem and assured the people that AAP will fulfill all the promises it made to them.

Atishi said the enthusiasm with which people are supporting AAP indicates a strong level of support the party will receive during the upcoming elections due on 14 February.

She said, “The Nuvem people are fed up with the party hopping politics of the BJP and the Congress. During the last election, they gave Congress leader Wilfred D’sa a chance. However, he betrayed their trust. D’Sa was among the 10 legislators who had en masse hopped to the saffron party in July 2019”.

She further said, “After doing a door-to-door visit the people told us that they are faced with many problems such as illegal laterite mining, depleted ground water, sale of water through tankers, destruction of natural streams due to the highway expansion, migrants in Pirni and Verna working in the industrial estate and no support to poor families involved in agriculture in Verna and Nuvem”.

Adding she said, “We will ensure proper support to the farmers if AAP forms the government. Additionally, we will guarantee uninterrupted water and power supply to the residents. We will create more jobs for young people. AAP Nuvem candidate Dr. Mariano Godinho will work for the betterment of the constituency”.

“When AAP forms the government, people will not need to visit government offices. Instead, government workers will come to your home and do your work. Nearly every village will have a mohalla clinic. It is no secret that Delhi’s education sector has transformed. If you vote for AAP, you will see that same transformation here”, said Atishi, a champion of Delhi’s education infrastructure transformation.
