Panaji: In what can raise the eyebrows, a group of police constable who were earlier transferred from different police stations, have managed to get back their original places, within 6 months of the order.

There is increasing discontent amongst the police force that this group of Police Constables want managed to get come back to the police stations where they were posted for years before being transferred.

The penchant to return to the same police station by these constables has also raised suspicion as to why they want to be only in those places.

Superintendent of Police (HQ) Nidhin Valsan has issued transfer orders of 15 police constables back to police stations like Margao, Curchorem, Anjuna, Siolim Coastal, Pernem, Mapusa, Canacona, Mormugao and Quepem.

Amongst these is one of the constable who was transferred from Margao to other place was never relieved and now in the latest transfer order is seen back in Margao.

These constables have been attached to their favourite police stations for years together.
