Panaji: State Health Minister Vishwajit Rane on Friday inspected the preparedness at Goa Medical College and hospital as Covid-19 vaccines are all set to be rolled out on January 16.
“Highly impressed with the preparations at the COVID Vaccination Centre at GMC to kick start the vaccination drive,” Rane stated.
Informing about the process of vaccination Rane said, “The recipient will be checked for any symptoms at the entrance by the Vaccinator No 1 and then allowed to enter the waiting area. The process will begin by registering on the Co-Win portal and then sent to the vaccination station for their first shot.”
“The team has set up a separate AEFI Management Room to deal with any adverse effect following the immunization,” Rane added.
