In a joint operation by ANC police, Crime Branch and Anjuna Police on 18/02/2023 a total of 07 persons have been booked for consumption of narcotic drugs.
As per SP North Nidhin Valsan, staff of ANC PS, Crime Branch and Anjuna PS on 18/02/2023 at about 11 pm of night conducted patrolling on Vagator beach and while on patrolling duty 07 accused persons were checked and tested positive for consumption narcotic drugs i.e. The accused persons are namely 1) Dhaval Kumar Odhavjibhai Sojitra age 28yrs r/o Arambol, Pernem n/o Surat City Gujarat 2) Nidhin N.S S/o Sujendran N.T age 32yrs r/o Kerala 3) Dilshad Najeeb M.P S/o MP Mohammed Koya age 27yrs r/o Kerala 4) Ajin Joiy age 20yrs r/o Kerala 5) Sandesh S. Naik age 28yrs r/o Karwar, Karnataka 6) M Vijaya Shankar S/o Mahadeve Gawda MB age 24yrs r/o Karnataka 7) Koladiya Nishant Bharat Bhai age 26yrs Surat city Gujarat. The SP further informed that with the help of SOTAKO machine, oral saliva screening was done randomly during which they all tested positive.
SDPO Mapusa Jivba Dalvi informed that thier is zero tolerance to drugs and such random checking for consumption of drugs will continue in future.
Further investigation is in progress under the supervision of SP North Nidhin Valsan, IPS and SDPO Mapusa Jivba Dalvi.
