Panaji: Following repeated statements from Congress that it will form government sans Goa Forward Party (GFP), its president Vijai Sardesai today challenged the Congress to form the Goa government with MGP.
“I dare congress to form government with MGP. Let them not just talk but show it. I challenge them,” Sardesai told media persons.
“There is a need to have stability or a stabilized leader to form a government. And this what is missing in Congress,” he commented.
Sardesai said that there is no question of backtracking on the promise made to Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar. “We will stand by with Parrikar and there is no question on that,” he stated adding that there is complete stability in the coalition government under Parrikar.
