Two accused wanted by Punjab police arrested in Goa

Panaji: Goa crime branch along with the special cell of Amritsar Rural police on Sunday night arrested two persons, who were wanted by Punjab police in connection with murders and arms act.

 A Goa police spokesman told mediapersons on Monday that Samlval Gurunan Singh (22) from Amritsar was wanted in connection with four murders while  Amrit Kewal Singh (22) from Tarn Tarah, Punjab was  wanted by Punjab police in connection with the Arms act.

The cases were filed against them at Jadiala Police station, he said.

The spokesman could not reveal the details of the cases filed against them by Punjab police.

He said that both the accused were hiding in a slum area at Zuarinagar, near Vasco town in South Goa from where they were arrested on Sunday night.
