Sanguem: Sanguem Police Inspector Sagar Ekoskar has done what he has been known shielding in the past – custodial assault. The inspector has been accused of assaulting panch member Janu Zore inside the police station.
Zore is currently admitted in Hospicio Hospital Margao after being brutally attacked by Ekoskar. The Sanguem police station does not have working CCTV cameras because of which Ekoskar and his gang has been taking advantage.
The incident happened yesterday when Zore along with his brother, a lawyer and another man had gone to Sanguem police station to settle some dispute.
Zore said that the police inspector attacked him without any provocation and fired bad words. Even his mobile phone was smashed.
Ekoskar has been in the news in the past when he shielded PSI Sudin Redkar in Amit Naik assault case. It’s time for Ekoskar to pack his bags from Sanguem and enjoy rains sitting in GRP.
