Panaji: Suchana Seth, chief executive officer of Artificial Intelligence Start-Up, who is arrested for allegedly killing her four-year-old son, was taken to the crime scene on Friday.
A senior police official said that after initial reluctance, the accused agreed to visit the room in the service apartment, where she allegedly killed her son.
Seth had checked in the room on January 6 and then left on January 8.
“The accused showed police the cutter which was used by her to cut her wrist. She also showed to the police how she packed body of the child in the bag,” the police said.
“But she has continued denying that she killed her son,” he added.
Police said that the accused was reluctant to visit the scene of offence on Friday. Calangute Police Inspector Paresh Naik managed to convince her and took her in the police van to the spot, he said.
The inspection of the premises continued for almost one hour before she was taken back to the police custody, the official said.
