Panaji: Goa Children’s Court on Friday remanded chief executive officer of Artificial Intelligence start up Suchana Seth for thirteen days of Judicial custody.
Seth was produced before the court in Panaji on Friday by Calangute police after her extended remand of five days expired.
The court remanded her to thirteen days of judicial custody as police did not ask any further remand.
Seth is in police custody since January 08, when she was arrested while trying to flee from the state after killing her four-year-old child.
She was arrested in Chitradurga district of Karnataka.
A lawyer representing Seth said that the police did not ask for any further remand from the court after which she was sent to the Judicial custody.
He said that they are not filing for the bail to his client, as of now.
Seth was taken to Central Jail at Colvale in North Goa on Friday from the court.
She has been booked under various offences including murder, destruction of evidence and section 8 of Goa children’s Act.
