Panaji: Chief Minister Pramod Sawant today said that government has filed an application for dump mining before Supreme Court.
“An application for dump mining has been filed before the Supreme Court. We are hopeful of positive outcome in reviving the industry,” he tweeted.
Government has pleaded that they should be allowed to undertake dump mining activities.
As per government record, there are 313 dumps in the State, with a total estimated quantity of 733 million tons.
