Bicholim: The Rotaract Club of Bicholim conducted it’s 16th Installation Ceremony on the 3rd of July 2022. Rtr. Sriyesh Naik was installed as the President for the Rota Year 2022-23 with the theme “empower”.
Dr Pravin Sawant was the chief guest for the function during which the Incoming President was installed at the hands of Rtn. Durgesh Karapurkar, The President of Rotary Club of Bicholim. The dais was also graced by the Presence of the Rotaract Club Chair Rtn. Sargam Falari.
For the ceremony, a felicitation program was held, where the club felicitated 1. Ms. Siya Naik Govekar, who stood first in the Goa State at the SSC exams. 2. Mast. Aahil Shaikh for his achievements in Swimming. 3. Mr. Ramnath Desai, winner of gold medal at the International games for senior citizens held at Singapore. 4. Ms. Niral Wadekar, Gold Medal at Khelo India in Yoga.
The club also felicitated its member Rtr. Riya Raut Dessai and Rtr. Harsh Teli for their achievements at RDC and Pre- RD camps.
The outgoing President, Rtr. Siddhant Shetye also gave several awards. Rtr. Nagaraj Gadekar was awarded the Best Rotaractor (Male) and Rtr. Rutuja Pawaskar was held to be the best Rotaractor (Female).
The vote of thanks was given by Rtr. Richa Ghodge, the Secretary of the Club.
