South Goa Congress ticket race between Pratima-Sardinha heading for Photo finish
New Delhi: Goa Pradesh Mahila Congress Committee President Pratima Coutinho and former Chief Minister Francis Sardinha are heading toward a photo finish in the race for South Goa Lok Sabha ticket.
Sources stated that lengthy deliberations are being held in Delhi over whether Pratima or Sardinha should be given the ticket, while the party has already finalized its State President Girish Chodankar for North Goa Seat.
Girish has already began holding meetings to chart out his campaign in North Goa constituency.
Both – Pratima and Sardinha – are from minority community, one of the crucial criteria, decided by party to select the candidate.
