Panaji: NGO Savera on Saturday demanded that the government led by Manohar Parrikar should be dissolved immediately owing to the frequent absenteeism of the ministers and the chief minister.
Savera Chief Tara Kerkar said that Parrikar due to his health reasons have to be in the USA, two ministers – Pandurang Madkaikar and Francis D’Souza – are also bed ridden while rest of the ministers are busy touring the world.
“In such kind of circumstances, there is no government in place. People are suffering. So it is the best time to dissolve the Assembly and impose President’s Rule in the State,” she said.
Kerkar said that the people are suffering and administration has collapsed. “There is no creation of jobs and various developmental works are pending. If you go to see there is absolutely no government,” she alleged.
