Sancoale youth arrested for sending threatening message to CM, Durgadas Kamat, Ors

Panaji: Goa Police on Monday arrested 25 year old man for sending threatening messages to Chief Minister Pramod Sawant and other leaders.
Ashish Naik who resides at Sancoale village in South Goa were arrested by Ponda police.
Police Inspector Mohan Gaude said that the accused has confessed of sending threatening messages to several people including the chief minister seeking ransom.
The accused used to send messages from international number in which he used to mention a local mobile number, he said.
Gaude said that the local number was that of his personal rival which he used to mention to indict him in the crime.
Sawant had filed complaint with Panaji police on November 5 against unknown accused for sending him threatening message and asking for ransom.
Goa Forward Party Vice President Durgadas Kamat on November 07 had filed complaint of receiving threat with Ponda Police station.
Former BJP leader Pranav Sanvordekar had also filed a similar complaint with Curchorem Police.
